school curriculum.
- Provides concentrated hands-on use and specific lesson plans.
Workshop Two: Children As Storytellers
- Presents techniques for incorporating storytelling as part of the
curriculum.
- Compares and contrasts stories from other cultures which enhance
our traditional cultural values.
- Emphasizes listening skills.
- Follows QCC Objectives.
- These techniques may be used:
- In a whole group setting.
- With or without graphics or sound.
- With or without the Internet.
Workshop Three: Multimedia Innovations
- Presents multimedia strategies, lesson plans and tips, including
Laser disc technology and CD-ROM Products, including their use in the
classroom.
- Specific Lesson Plans on developing classroom multimedia
projects.
- Tips on integrating multimedia into your present curriculum.
Workshop Four: Other Technology Tools
- Presents techniques, including copyright guidance, to integrate
visual images into teacher and student work.
- Sources covered include cameras, snapshots, student art, royalty
free CDs, and illustrations.
