

Do you like Stories?
Almost everyone does.
People have probably
told stories for as long as there have been people. In ancient days, stories
were called Fables. Maybe because a lot of them were about fabulous things.
One of the most famous ancient storytellers was called Aesop, and Aesop's Fables have been handed down from generation to generation. One of the original Aesop's Fables was about the Tortoise and the Hare.
This Fable was retold by Janet Stevens and presented as a play at Rowland School by Ms. Mai Linh Westwood's 2nd Grade students on May 21, 1996.
