Anansi the Spider is a major character in African folktales. Anansi promotes the use of cleverness and a mental approach to overcoming the obstacles of life. Anansi is also at home in the use of webs to find and collect resources. Anansi walks the web with supreme confidence. Anansi will also refer to the individual and collective activities, objectives, voice and identity of this WebSite.
3. Anansi Walks the Web
An allegorical reference to the objectives and activities of this WebSite. This collaboration is dedicated to the development and display of Anansi's confidence while using curricula oriented resources on the World Wide Web. Anansi Walks the Web also refers to the formal collective identity of this WebSite.
4. Anansi WebWalker
A reference to each individual user (student or faculty) of Anansi, or any Member School Homepage. Anansi WebWalker also refers to the collective voice of Anansi Members and Administrators.
